YOUR EXPERENCE MATTERS
Ai is full of bias. Information on the menopause can be a mixed bag of stereotypes, misinformation, and band wagon solutions at best. So what happens when you use the direct experiences of menopausal women to train Ai through image generation, with a female curator working with each contributor, to ensure the images generated are representational?
Imagine a body of work reflecting the very individual journey of the menopause. Images accompanying personal accounts that collectively demonstrate why healthcare must be personal. No two images the same, each as powerful and emotive as the next. All in defeat of the Ai bias, all to raise awareness of what the menopause actually means.
We use AI to generate artworks based on the accounts we receive. In time, there will be an exhibition, and a book. This will be one of the first health awareness AI generated, mass collaborated works of it's kind.
For now, this starts with you.
If you are experiencing the menopause, are post menopausal or you are peri, then please take a moment to consider your experience, and send us your thoughts below. Imagine you're writing to a friend, or in a journal; what's important is that your words are natural to you.
If you would prefer a conversation over zoom or even in person, or want to send in a voice recording as another way to submit, then please email through your request for a meeting, or send your audio file to ouch@ouchhealth.com with the subject 'menopause art'. Once we have your submission, artwork will take around a day or two to generate. If you leave your email, we'll send you a digital copy for you to own or keep checking on social to see your contribution.
By submitting you grant Ouch Health Ltd, T/A Ouch! permission to use your information including your first name, any audio submitted and any personal account of your menopause experience. You also give irrevocable consent to publish, republish or otherwise transmit the information submitted in any medium for all purposes throughout the world. You understand that your information will be used to create artwork, and that all IP and rights to the artwork are retained by Ouch Health. You understand that the text, audio and images may be altered or modified in any manner.
